Description
The S6142B from RWC is a swivel frame castor and is fitted with a nylon wheel. This swivel castor is one of our stainless steel excel plate range and can hold loads up to 300kg. The S6142B is assembled with plain bearings on the castors axle and is plate mounted. This castors swivel frame allows full swivel rotation to enable steering. The nylon wheel diameter is 150mm, the wheel width is 50mm and you can order separately (NY652). For the same castor without a brake, see S6142.
The benefit of using one or more braked castors is evident on uneven or sloping surfaces as when the brake is activated, the platform that they are fitted to cannot roll away when unattended.
