Description
These New IBC's meet FDA and EU Regulations for bulk packaging of food and pharmaceutical products and / or ingredients. The inner tank is Natural, contained in tubular steel frame and secured to a steel pallet base, and completed with protective corner pieces. These IBC's are also DG rated and have a specific gravity (SG) rating of 1.9 which makes them suitable for most applications.
The inner tank of this model of IBC consists of 6 layers which incorporate Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol (EVOH). EVOH is a thermoplastic copolymer that is used in packaging for food, drugs, cosmetics, and other perishable products. EVOH is known for its barrier properties to gases like oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, which helps to extend the shelf life of contained goods.
These FDA EVOH Approved IBC's are easily identified due to the unique "6 LAYER" Label on the tank, top and lower caps being green in colour, and featuring a Schutz FoodCert FDA decal on the front label plate. The standard outlet is the coarse thread S60x6 DN50 option with a butterfly valve fitted with the handle being coloured Green to denote that the IBC is fitted with Food Grade Viton Seals making them impervious to most organic and chemical solutions. These IBC's generally have 4 x Label Plates and have the top DN150 Cap in non-vented format also in Green.
The MX FDA EVOH IBC complies with the specifications of the Food & Drug Administration (USA), the European Ordinance EC/1935/2004, and the Ordinance EC/10/2011.
